Parts and service
Akyapak is the broadest line we represent. CNC beam drill lines, three and four roll plate rolls, angle rolls, dishing and flanging presses, shot blasting, gantry milling, and welding automation. For a structural shop, that covers most of what happens to steel between the rack and the paint booth.
That breadth is the reason we carry it. A shop adding a beam line this year and a plate roll next year deals with one supplier, one service team, and one set of parts. We supply, install, and service all of it from Cambridge, Ontario.

Plate Rolls

3-roll hydraulic plate rolling machine
AHK
Every roll on the AHK is independently powered — larger models (230 mm+ top roll diameter) use direct hydraulic motor-and-reducer drives, while compact models add a gear-and-chain stage for the same consistent torque output. That independent drive eliminates power loss between rolls, so bending force stays uniform even on thick plate. The AHK pre-bends on both sides of the machine without removing the workpiece, covering thicknesses from 2 mm to 200 mm across widths up to 12,000 mm. A braking system holds the plate firmly during feeding to prevent slippage. AC Machinery supplies and supports the full AHK range from Cambridge, Ontario.

4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machine
AHS 4-Roll
Built around a four-roll hydraulic configuration, the AHS handles plate from 2 mm up to 200 mm thick and widths spanning 500 mm to 12,000 mm. Its pinch-and-roll approach grips the workpiece between the upper and lower rolls, completing a full cylinder without repositioning the plate. A planetary lever-arm drive system concentrates bending force where it counts, keeping flat-end waste to a minimum. The working range spans models from compact 1,250 mm units to full-production 6,100 mm lines, with NC or CNC control options depending on your throughput needs. AC Machinery supplies and supports the full AHS range from Cambridge, Ontario.

4-roll automated plate rolling line
AHS-AUTO
The AHS-AUTO takes the proven AHS four-roll platform and wraps it in a complete automation package. A pneumatic gantry loader with vacuum lifts pulls plates from the stockpile and transfers them to an infeed conveyor, which feeds the machine automatically. Once the plate is in position, the rolling cycle runs hands-free — forming the workpiece and ejecting the finished part without operator intervention. The result is a continuous non-stop cycle: load, roll, eject, repeat. Because the gantry handles all material movement, there is no need for an overhead crane, freeing up floor space and eliminating a common bottleneck in high-volume shops. Whether you are rolling pressure vessel shells, pipe sections, or structural components, the AHS-AUTO turns plate rolling from a manually intensive process into a push-button production line. AC Machinery supplies and supports the full AHS-AUTO system from Cambridge, Ontario.

4-roll wind tower bending line
AHS-RK
The AHS-RK pairs a full AHS four-roll platform with column-boom welding stations and turning rotators in a single coordinated production line. Designed for wind energy fabricators, it moves plate from rolling through longitudinal and circumferential welding without manual handling between stages. The result is shorter cycle times, tighter dimensional consistency, and higher daily output on tower shell sections. Backed by over five decades of Akyapak heavy-rolling expertise, the AHS-RK is supplied and supported by AC Machinery from Cambridge, Ontario.

3-roll variable geometry plate rolling machine
AHV
On the AHV, every roll moves on its own axis — the top roll travels vertically while both side rolls travel horizontally — giving operators full geometric control over the bending zone. That independent movement lets you set an asymmetric layout to minimise flat ends on lighter work, then switch to a symmetric stance for maximum-thickness passes without changing tooling. Models are available with 3,100 mm working lengths and capacities reaching 260 mm, making the AHV a strong fit for thick-wall pressure vessels, offshore structures, and other heavy forming work. AC Machinery supplies and supports the AHV series from Cambridge, Ontario.

4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machine
NG 4-Roll
The NG Series represents Akyapak’s latest leap in plate rolling technology. Every roll operates on its own independently optimised servo-hydraulic circuit, delivering positioning accuracy that earlier generations simply could not match. The lower and side rolls run through an advanced digital parallelism system backed by NextRoll—Akyapak’s newest CNC platform—so each pass is monitored and corrected in real time. A reinforced yet lighter body frame keeps alignment rock-solid under heavy loads while reducing overall machine weight. Combined with modular sheet covers that speed up maintenance access, the NG is built for shops that need production-grade repeatability without compromising on uptime. AC Machinery supplies the full NG range with installation, commissioning, and ongoing support from Cambridge, Ontario.

hydraulic flanging machine
BMB
The Akyapak BMB flanging machine turns flat or pre-dished blanks into finished flanged heads with controlled edge profiles — a critical operation in pressure vessel, tank, and process equipment manufacturing. The electro-welded, stress-relieved frame and proportional hydraulic controls deliver precise, low-vibration flanging across a working diameter range of 20 inches to 33 feet, handling material from 14 gauge to 2 inches cold and up to 4 inches when hot-formed. Both upper and lower head holders are independently driven by hydraulic motors and cylinders, while a radial-piston hydraulic motor powers the knuckle roll for high-speed rotation and consistent torque throughout the flanging pass. The flanging roll itself is driven by three hydraulic cylinders for both vertical and horizontal movement, sliding between the two main bodies for precise edge control. Designed for simplicity, the BMB can be operated effectively by personnel without extensive metal forming experience. ACM provides BMB flanging machines from Cambridge, Ontario with die packages, process guidance, and dedicated service support.

horizontal chamber shot blasting, painting, and drying line
Sandor CH-H
The Sandor CH-H is a fully integrated blasting, painting, and drying line purpose-built for horizontal processing of profiles, plates, and large fabrications. Unlike standalone blast cabinets, the CH-H combines every stage of surface treatment on a single production line — workpieces travel through the enclosed blast chamber, advance into an automatic painting station, and exit through an inline drying oven, all without manual re-handling. This eliminates the flash rust and contamination that occur when parts sit between separate stations. Available in three configurations covering work widths from 1,500 to 3,100 mm, the CH-H handles everything from narrow structural profiles to wide plate work and pipe spools. Four to six high-performance turbines rated at 15/20 HP each deliver uniform blast coverage across all surfaces, while a parallel roller conveyor system adapts to parts of different sizes and shapes at working speeds from 0.3 to 2.1 m/min. The integrated abrasive recovery system uses three-layer steel construction with chrome plating for durability in demanding conditions, and advanced dust collection achieves 99.9% filtration efficiency for a cleaner, safer shop environment. PLC control coordinates every stage — turbine activation, paint application, and drying parameters — for repeatable results across production runs. ACM supplies the Sandor CH-H from Cambridge, Ontario with complete line design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.

vertical chamber shot blasting machine
Sandor CH-V
The Sandor CH-V is a vertical chamber shot blasting machine engineered for efficient, dual-side surface preparation of steel plates. By processing workpieces vertically, it delivers uniform cleaning on both faces simultaneously — no flipping, no repositioning, and a dramatically smaller footprint compared to horizontal alternatives. Four direct-drive turbines, mounted at a 30-degree angle inside a robust double-wall blast cabinet, blast both sides of the plate in a single cycle. High-chrome steel impellers and manganese steel housings with internal liners ensure long service life even under heavy production schedules. The automated conveyor system features variable-speed roller transport with frequency-inverter control, automatic parts-detection to activate the blast valves only when material is present, and a hydraulic transverse loader-unloader for smooth material handling. Rubber curtains at entry and exit seal the cabinet, preventing abrasive escape and maintaining a clean working environment. An integrated bucket elevator and abrasive recovery circuit recirculates usable shot while removing fines, keeping operating costs predictable. Available in three working widths — 1,500, 2,500, and 3,100 mm — the CH-V scales to match your plate processing requirements. ACM supplies the Sandor CH-V from Cambridge, Ontario with installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.

continuous monorail hook conveyor shot blasting machine
Sandor D
The Sandor D is engineered to handle every type of welded structure, spool, and raw material your shop can throw at it — plates, angle profiles, L- and H-beams, tubes, and more — all at production-line speed with minimal operating cost. Parts are suspended from a continuous monorail hook conveyor and carried through a fully enclosed blast chamber where 8, 12, or 16 high-performance turbines deliver multi-angle coverage for uniform cleaning quality on all surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas that fixture-based systems miss. Six model configurations span work widths from 800 to 3,500 mm and heights up to 2,100 mm, giving you the flexibility to process everything from narrow structural profiles to large fabricated assemblies. Because parts move on hooks rather than rollers, the Sandor D integrates directly with downstream painting and drying lines for uninterrupted flow from raw steel to finished surface. Direct-drive motors with high-chrome steel wheels and manganese steel turbine housings with internal liners deliver aggressive cleaning power while keeping wear part costs low. A double-wall blast chamber constructed from hardened cast steel plates resists continuous abrasive impact, and labyrinth seals at every junction prevent shot leakage. The PLC-based control panel manages turbine activation, conveyor speed, and abrasive flow, with a remote communication module for diagnostics and process monitoring. ACM supplies the Sandor D from Cambridge, Ontario with full installation, commissioning, and production-line integration support.

roller conveyor shot blasting machine
Sandor R-Line
The Sandor R-Line is built for shops that need consistent, high-volume surface preparation without slowing the production line. Workpieces ride powered rollers through a fully enclosed blast cabinet where eight high-chrome turbines, angled at 30 degrees, deliver uniform cleaning across every surface in a single pass. A PLC-based touch panel manages the entire blast cycle — turbine activation, conveyor speed, and abrasive flow — so operators load material at the inlet and collect cleaned parts at the outlet with minimal intervention. The integrated abrasive recovery system uses screw conveyors, a dual-chain bucket elevator, and a curtain-type air separator to recirculate usable shot while removing fines, keeping operating costs predictable and blast quality steady. Cartridge dust collectors with automatic pulse cleaning maintain air quality and meet environmental standards. Available in two configurations — the R 8x1 for plates and profiles up to 400 mm wide, and the R 8x15 for wider work including pipe spools up to 800 mm — the Sandor R-Line scales to match your throughput requirements. Column-and-boom welding manipulator (MCB / HCB / E-HCB models)
Column-Boom
ACM supplies the Akyapak column-and-boom welding system for fabricators welding tanks, vessels, pipe spools, and large steel constructions where the workpiece cannot be moved through a fixed welding station. The column carries a vertical boom whose welding head positions the torch precisely for peripheral, longitudinal, internal-longitudinal, internal-peripheral, and cover welds, including welds in confined inner diameters where access is tight. The 360-degree rotating column moves under manual or automatic control across the full plane, and the boom is freely adjustable in both horizontal and vertical directions for fine torch placement. A mechanical brake locks the boom in position to prevent accidental descent during welding. The lineup spans three models. MCB is the base configuration; HCB adds a moveable or fixed operator seat for ergonomic welding; E-HCB extends reach for larger workpieces. Across the family, load capacity runs from 200 to 600 kg (440 to 1,323 lb) and boom distance runs from 4,385 mm to 10,070 mm (about 14 to 33 feet), so the same product family covers small, medium, and heavy-duty welding cells. HCB and E-HCB models also include an operator ladder for safe high-position access. The column-boom integrates with Akyapak SRH hydraulic welding positioners and turning rolls for fully co-ordinated translation through circumferential and longitudinal welds, or runs independently for straight passes. Both stationary and rail-mounted mobile configurations are available. ACM helps configure model size, mounting, and integration with your existing welding power source from Cambridge, Ontario.

Conventional 4-wheel turning rotator
CR
ACM supplies the Akyapak CR conventional rotator for fabricators welding cylindrical workpieces with little variation in diameter, including tanks, pressure vessels, pipes, and similar circular components. The CR is the practical, cost-effective choice in Akyapak's turning roll lineup: it rotates the workpiece at a controlled, adjustable speed under the welding arc, eliminating the crane operations and manual rotation that slow down a non-automated cell. Four impact and vibration-resistant polyurethane wheels handle the workpiece, with each wheel moving separately for smooth rotation across the diameter range. The standard CR handles workpiece diameters from 2,750 to 8,000 mm (about 9 to 26 ft) and load capacities from 1 to 300 tons; special configurations extend capacity to 600 tons. Operators control rotation in either direction at varying speeds via a remote control connected by a 5 m cable, with a digital display showing the current speed setting. The CR runs as a standalone turning station for production welding on consistent diameters, or integrates with Akyapak column-boom welding systems for fully co-ordinated circumferential welds. ACM helps you size the CR to your typical workpiece weight and diameter and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

ACM supplies the Akyapak FIT-UP converter for fabricators joining two cylindrical sections into one welded assembly, including wind tower segments, pressure vessel sections, ship hull cylinders, tank fabrication, and similar circular structures. Where a conventional rotator handles a single workpiece, the FIT-UP system aligns and joins two: it consists of one stationary unit and one movable unit that travels along customisable rails, letting operators position the second cylinder to meet the first concentrically before the weld pass. The centre axis serves as the joining axis and can be customised and moved to accommodate various part sizes. The movable unit's position is adjusted up and down with hydraulic cylinders and right and left along the rail using a trolley walking drive. Standard load capacity ranges from 5 to 100 tons, with custom configurations available up to 300 tons, and the FIT-UP handles cylinders from 3,000 to 6,000 mm in rotation diameter (about 10 to 20 ft). Each cell is configured during the design phase to match specific requirements, including rail length and the number of rotating units. Operators control rotation speed via a digital display and a 5 m corded remote control, the same controller standard across the Akyapak turning roll family. The FIT-UP is purpose-built for peripheral welding processes, particularly the joining of two cylinders end-to-end. ACM helps you specify the FIT-UP system to your typical workpiece sizes and supports installation, operator training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

H-beam flange straightening line
BPS
ACM supplies the Akyapak BPS H-beam straightening line for fabricators correcting flange distortion that occurs after welding heavy structural beams. Internal stresses from the welding process bend H-beam flanges out of plane, and the BPS uses two upper hydraulic rollers paired with a lower wheel supported by a horizontal reducer to apply up to 441 US tons (400 tonnes) of straightening force, bringing welded beams back to their target geometry. The straightening bodies move horizontally to accommodate different beam widths, and adjustable trimming rollers handle a wide variety of beam sizes. Two 40 ft (12 m) infeed and outfeed conveyors drive long beams through the machine continuously, eliminating the manual handling that slows down a non-automated cell. Side supports use two pairs of double-sided guide wheels at entry and exit; one stop in each pair is hydraulically actuated and the other is adjusted with a handwheel, keeping the workpiece centred during the straightening pass. Quality alloy steel rollers deliver the durability and wear resistance needed to apply repeated heavy force without frequent replacement. The BPS runs as a standalone straightening cell or integrates downstream of the HBW H-beam welding line for a complete welded-and-straightened H-beam fabrication line. ACM helps you size the BPS to your typical beam dimensions and supports installation, commissioning, and operator training from Cambridge, Ontario.

Compact H-beam welding machine with integrated straightening
HBW
ACM supplies the Akyapak HBW H-beam welding machine for fabricators producing custom-sized structural H-beams in volume. The HBW is the most compact and space-saving H-beam welder on the market, making it a strong fit for shops that want full automation without dedicating a long line. Plate parts are centred in the inlet conveyor groups, then welded together to produce H-beams across a wide range of flange widths, web heights, and material thicknesses. The HBW includes integrated beam straightening, and can be configured with single or double (tandem) welding torches when throughput demands it. A robust structural hull and meticulously developed columns deliver durability under sustained production loads, while a sprocket-driven feeding system, encoder-controlled by a PLC, gives precise speed adjustment for repeatable results. Motor-driven guide rollers centre both the web and the bottom flange with hydraulic alignment for high-precision welds. ACM helps configure the HBW to your typical beam sizes and backs the install with full commissioning, operator training, and ongoing service from our Cambridge, Ontario base.

Rope-driven beam rotator with dual driver units
HR
ACM supplies the Akyapak HR rope beam rotator for fabricators welding heavy beams and large cylindrical workpieces who need precise, fast rotation without chain marks on sensitive surfaces. The HR uses an endless steel rope coated with polyurethane to rotate the workpiece, protecting the surface from the marks that chains would leave on materials like polished metal, painted surfaces, or composite parts. Two driver units handle the rotation; they can operate synchronously for rigid workpieces or independently when the welding angle needs separate adjustment on each end. Operators can rotate the workpiece in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and an elevator system raises and lowers it for ergonomic welding height. The rope system is reliably designed to prevent rope breakage, and the rope path is protected by the elevator structure. The HR handles workpieces from 450 to 1,200 mm in rotation diameter and load capacities from 2,500 to 10,000 kg (about 5,500 to 22,000 lb). A dual-body structure lets the two units move simultaneously or separately, with rotation co-ordinated across both bodies, giving operators flexibility on awkwardly shaped parts. CE safety compliant and built for heavy-duty industrial use, the HR is controlled via a 5 m corded remote control. Typical applications include H-beam welding, NPU beam welding, and any planar-section workpieces where surface integrity matters. ACM helps you size the HR to your typical beam weight and diameter and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

Self-aligning turning rotator with auto-adjusting wheels
SAR
ACM supplies the Akyapak SAR self-aligning rotator for fabricators welding cylindrical workpieces where diameters vary or two joining components have different production-tolerance diameters. Where the conventional CR rotator works best on workpieces of consistent diameter, the SAR's wheels automatically adjust as the workpiece changes, eliminating manual setup between parts. A material alignment mechanism automatically matches two components with different production-tolerance diameters for a seamless fit during the weld pass. The SAR also adapts to uneven floors, making it a strong fit for construction sites and shop floors where flatness is not guaranteed. Standard load capacity ranges from 3 to 300 tons, and the SAR handles workpieces from a minimum 235 mm to a maximum 7,000 mm turning diameter (roughly 9 inches to 23 feet). Four polyurethane wheels rotate the workpiece, with each wheel moving independently for smooth rotation. Operators control rotation speed via a digital display and a 5 m corded remote control, the same controller standard across the Akyapak turning roll family. The SAR runs as a standalone turning station or integrates with Akyapak column-boom welding systems for fully co-ordinated circumferential welds. Typical applications include pressure vessels, tower pipes, boilers, tanks, reactors, and fuel tanks. ACM helps you size the SAR to your workpiece envelope and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

Hydraulic welding positioner with motor-driven rotation and hydraulic tilt
SRH
ACM supplies the Akyapak SRH hydraulic welding positioner for fabricators welding pressure vessels, tank shells, structural assemblies, and pipe spools who need both rotation AND hydraulic tilt of the workpiece under the welder. Where the SRP focuses on rotation alone, the SRH adds full hydraulic positioning of height and orientation, letting operators bring the welding seam to the optimal angle and height while the workpiece stays securely clamped. The result is faster cycle times, cleaner welds, and reduced manual handling that would otherwise require a crane or forklift between weld passes. The SRH lineup spans loads from 500 kg up to 35,000 kg (about 1,100 to 77,000 lb, or 0.5 to 35 metric tons), with table diameters from 715 to 2,000 mm (about 28 to 79 inches). Seven standard models (SRH-500 through SRH-35000) cover the most common production envelopes, and larger custom builds are available on request. A PLC control panel with a digital speed indicator monitors rotation in real time, and a foot pedal is available for hands-free operation. The vertically adjustable body and dual-axis rotation cover both right and left workpiece movement, giving the operator full control over how the seam presents to the welder. Workpieces clamp directly to the rotation table via standard T-slot channels. Hydraulic tilt covers 0 to 115 degrees on the smaller SRH-500 through SRH-7000 models and 0 to 90 degrees on the heavier SRH-15000 through SRH-35000 models, with a mechanical angle indicator showing tilt position. A 500 A welding-earthing mechanism is standard. Operators control rotation via a 5 m (16 ft) corded remote, and a wireless remote is available as an option. The SRH is fixed to the floor on most installations for heavy-duty production. ACM helps you select the right SRH model based on workpiece weight, table size, and tilt-range requirements, and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

Conventional welding positioner with motor-driven rotation
SRP
ACM supplies the Akyapak SRP conventional welding positioner for fabricators welding workpieces of varying sizes who need precise rotation control without the cost or complexity of hydraulic tilt actuation. Where the SRH adds hydraulic tilt to the same positioning concept, the SRP focuses on rotation and T-slot clamping, ideal for fabrication tasks where the workpiece angle is set during fixturing rather than adjusted dynamically during the weld pass. The SRP family covers an unusually wide load range, from light-duty work at 150 kg up to heavy-duty fabrication at 40,000 kg (about 330 lb up to 88,200 lb, or 0.15 to 40 metric tons), with table diameters from 500 mm to 3,500 mm (about 20 to 138 inches). Operators can regulate rotation speed automatically or manually throughout the welding process, and a digital display on the control panel monitors rotation in real time so any deviation can be caught immediately. Workpieces clamp directly to the table via standard T-slot channels, holding the part securely during the full weld cycle. The SRP is ergonomically designed to reduce manual labour and improve operator safety, replacing the crane and forklift movements that slow down a non-automated cell. The SRP integrates with Akyapak column-boom welding systems and welding robots for fully co-ordinated welding cells where the positioner handles workpiece rotation and the column-boom or robot handles torch travel. Operators control rotation via a 5 m (16 ft) corded remote control. Typical applications include pressure vessel and tank welding, cylindrical assembly welding, and any fabrication where consistent rotation under the welder reduces dependence on cranes and forklifts. ACM helps you size the SRP to your typical workpiece weight and table requirement and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.

- Table Diameter
- 500 to 3,500 mm (about 20 to 138 inches)
- Rotation Speed
- Adjustable, automatic or manual operation

Chain-driven beam rotator with dual driver units
ZR
ACM supplies the Akyapak ZR chain beam rotator for fabricators welding heavy beams and flat cross-section parts where the chain drive's grip and load capacity matter more than surface protection. Where the rope-driven HR is the right choice for sensitive surfaces (painted, polished, composite), the ZR uses an endless chain mechanism designed to grip and position heavy workpieces precisely for optimum weld edge preparation. Two driver units handle the rotation; they can operate synchronously for rigid workpieces or independently when the welding angle needs separate adjustment on each end. The ZR rotates workpieces in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and is height-adjustable so the welder can match the operator's working height. Standard load capacity ranges from 6,000 to 12,000 kg (about 6.6 to 13 US tons, or 6 to 12 metric tons), with rotation diameters from 600 to 2,000 mm (about 24 to 79 inches, or 2 to 6.5 ft). The height-adjustable design adapts to parts of different sizes, making it a strong fit for fabrication shops welding mixed structural sections. CE safety compliant and built for heavy-duty industrial use, the ZR is controlled via a 10 m (32 ft) corded remote control, longer than the 5 m standard on Akyapak's smaller rotators, giving the operator more freedom on larger workpieces. Typical applications include H-beam welding, NPU beam welding, and flat structural sections in steel construction. ACM helps you size the ZR to your typical workpiece weight and diameter and supports installation, training, and ongoing service from Cambridge, Ontario.
