High-speed fiber laser tube cutting system
F1 Tube Laser - High speed for small tube
The F1 is a high-speed fiber laser tube cutting system built for small-diameter round and square tube, angle iron, and channel steel from 10 to 120 mm. With traverse speeds to 150 m/min, 1.5 G acceleration, and fully automatic loading that changes material in seconds, it is engineered for high-volume small-tube production. Short-tail and zero-tail cutting keep scrap to a minimum, while a precision square-bore chuck and optional weld detection protect part quality. ACM stocks, installs, and supports the F1 across Canada from our Cambridge, Ontario facility.

FAQ
Tube Laser Questions
Answers to common questions about our tube laser products.
Depending on the model, tube diameters range from 20 mm up to 660 mm. Square profiles up to 500 mm and tube lengths up to 12 metres are supported across the range. The PD Series covers small and medium tubes (up to 180 mm), the PLT Series handles mid-range (up to 360 mm), and the TX Series processes heavy-duty pipe (up to 660 mm).
Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloy, and copper (model dependent). The fiber laser source cuts all standard metals used in tube and pipe fabrication.
Yes. ACM stocks Han's Laser tube cutting systems and provides full installation, commissioning, operator training, preventive maintenance, and emergency repair from our Cambridge, Ontario facility.
Yes. Both the TX Series and PLT Series offer optional bevel cutting heads with up to +/-45 degree capability for structural steel and pipe welding applications.
All three series offer semi-automatic and fully automatic feeding options. The PLT and PD Series support bundle silo-based automatic loading for unattended production runs.
Guides
Maintaining your Tube Laser
Written by the people who install and service these machines.
Tube laser capacity: diameter is not the number that stops the job
Buyers specify a tube laser on diameter. The number that actually decides which machine they need is the weight of the tube, and the same 150 mm section can weigh 107 kg or 254 kg on a six metre stick.
Doug RobinsonBuying a piece of equipment begins with properly understanding a problem
Nobody wants to buy a machine. They want to solve a problem. The specification you have written is your own diagnosis of that problem, and it is worth twenty minutes to check before you spend six figures.
Doug RobinsonFiber laser maintenance: a shorter daily list, and less room for error
A fiber laser asks less of the operator each morning than a plasma table does. The items that remain are the ones protecting the most expensive parts of the machine, including one that tells you it is failing before your cut quality drops.
