Parts and service
Prodevco builds robotic beam coping systems in Saint-Georges, Quebec. Robotic plasma that cuts copes, slots, holes, and layout marks on beam, and on the PCR51, combines three spindle drilling and robotic coping on one line.
Both ends of this one are Canadian. The machines are built in Quebec, and we supply, install, and service them from Cambridge, Ontario. For a structural shop, that means the people who built your machine and the people who fix it are in the same country as the machine, which is not something we can say about most of what we sell.

Robotic beam coping & plate processing system
PCR31
The PCR31 packs full-scale robotic beam coping and plate processing into a single compact work cell. A 6-axis industrial robot armed with a Hypertherm XPR plasma source handles copes, notches, bolt holes, weld preparation, beam splitting, and layout marking on H-beams up to W44, channels, angles, and HSS — then switches to plate processing for holes, slots, and profiles in material up to 60 inches wide. The onboard 3D Vision System scans each piece as it arrives, measuring actual dimensions and compensating for mill tolerances automatically so every cut lands where it should. Feed your DSTV or DXF files straight from Tekla, SDS/2, or GRAITEC and the PCR31 runs them without manual programming. Available from AC Machinery in Cambridge, Ontario, with full installation, training, and ongoing service support.
- Beam capacity (H-beams)
- 44″ × 22″
- Beam capacity (channels)
- 44″ × 16″
- Beam capacity (angles)
- 8″ × 8″
- HSS capacity
- 20″ × 16″

Robotic structural steel cutting system
PCR41
The PCR41 is a compact, cost-effective robotic plasma cutting system built for structural steel fabricators who need automated coping without a massive equipment footprint. Powered by a Fanuc 6-axis industrial robot and Hypertherm XPR 300 plasma source, it processes all four faces of hollow structural sections (square and rectangular tubing) along with standard H-beams, channels, and angles — handling copes, notches, holes, slots, compound bevels, beam splitting, and layout marking. A laser-based 3D vision measuring system with dual rotary encoders scans each piece on arrival, compensating for mill tolerances so cuts land precisely where they should. Feed your DSTV/NC1 files directly from Tekla, SDS/2, or GRAITEC — no post-processing or macros required. Available from AC Machinery in Cambridge, Ontario, with full installation, training, and ongoing service support.
- H-beam capacity
- 4″ × 4″ to 30″ × 16″
- Channel capacity
- 3″ × 1-1/4″ to 30″ × 16″
- Angle capacity
- 2″ × 2″ to 8″ × 8″
- HSS capacity
- 2″ × 2″ to 16″ × 16″

7-axis robotic structural steel cutting system
PCR42
The PCR42 is Prodevco’s top-of-line robotic plasma coping system, combining 7-axis operation with fully automated laser measuring for maximum structural steel processing versatility. A Fanuc 7th rotary axis enables 2-zone processing — reducing material indexing and pushing throughput well beyond single-zone systems. It handles wide-flange beams up to W44, channels, angles, HSS rectangle and square tubing, and round tube, executing copes, notches, holes, slots, compound bevels, beam splitting, scribing, and weld prep directly from DSTV/NC1 files. Available from AC Machinery in Cambridge, Ontario, with full installation, training, and ongoing service support.
- H Beam capacity
- Min 4"×4" to max 40"×16"
- Channel capacity
- Min 3"×1-1/4" to max 40"×16"
- Angle capacity
- Min 2"×2" to max 8"×8"
- HSS capacity
- Min 2"×2" to max 24"×20"

Combination drilling and robotic plasma beam line
PCR51
The PCR51 is Prodevco’s flagship beam processing line, combining CNC drilling and robotic plasma coping in a single integrated system. Three independent spindle drill heads with sub-axis positioning handle simultaneous drilling on all three faces — even when holes are not aligned — plus milling, tapping, countersinking, and slot machining. The robotic plasma coper adds copes, notches, compound angle cuts, weld prep, beam splitting, and layout marking, eliminating the need for separate drill and cope lines. Processes sections from 6″×3″ up to 51″×20″. Available from AC Machinery in Cambridge, Ontario.
- Section size (min)
- 6″ × 3″ (150 × 75 mm)
- Section size (max)
- 51″ × 20″ (1300 × 500 mm)
- Drilling heads
- 3
- Drill bit capacity
- 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ (12 to 40 mm)
Why us
Why buy Prodevco from AC Machinery
Canadian built, Canadian supported
Prodevco builds these in Saint-Georges, Quebec. We supply and service them from Cambridge, Ontario. No overseas lead times on either end.
Robotic coping, not a saw
Copes, slots, holes, and layout marks on four faces, cut by a robot instead of a torch and a template. It changes what your fitters spend their day on.
Drilling and coping on one line
The PCR51 combines CNC drilling with robotic coping in a single line. We will tell you whether that consolidation suits your throughput or whether separate stations serve you better.
Installed and serviced by our team
Our technicians commission the cell, train your operators, and come back when you need them.
FAQ
Prodevco at AC Machinery: common questions
Answers to common questions about our prodevco products.
In Saint-Georges, Quebec. Prodevco is a Canadian manufacturer, and we supply and service their equipment from Cambridge, Ontario.
We supply the PCR range of robotic beam copers, from compact coping cells through to the PCR51, which combines three spindle CNC drilling with robotic coping on one line. The current lineup is listed on this page.
Copes, slots, holes, weld preparation, and layout marking, on multiple faces of a beam in one setup. The larger systems handle profiles up to 48 inches.
Not necessarily. The PCR51 combines drilling and coping on one line. Whether that suits you depends on your throughput and how your shop is laid out, and we will walk through it with you before quoting.
We do. Our technicians handle commissioning, operator training, and service, and they travel to customers across Canada.
Request a quote from this page or call us. Bring your section range and your typical volume, and we will come back with a configuration rather than a price.
