Cut your nitrogen cost by up to 94% on your laser

You do not have to buy nitrogen for your laser. You can make your own. An on site nitrogen generator makes nitrogen from compressed air, in your shop, as your laser calls for it. Thousands of companies worldwide already do this with reliable technology. Per unit of gas, nitrogen made on site costs up to 94% less than cylinder packs and about 80% less than bulk liquid, before the cost of the system.
AC Machinery offers the systems and sizes them to your work. The nitrogen supply study is free. Send us what you cut and let us run an N2 usage analysis for you. We will show you the appropriately sized system for your specific application. From there, if you want to share your N2 supply style and pricing, we can tell you up front if it will pay back or not.
Why make your own nitrogen
Shops compete on what it costs to make their products, and nitrogen for the laser is a cost you can reduce. Because the N2 generator system initial cost is fixed, the savings grow with every hour you cut on nitrogen. Many fiber laser shops find a generator can pay off on as little as one shift a day, depending on production.

Systems we offer
AC Machinery offers MSS Group (Nitrocubes), Purity Air, Parker Hannifin, Atlas Copco and Kaeser products, configured for your application. Which one fits depends on what you cut and how you run, and the study is where that gets decided, not a chart.
What the free study covers
You send us:
- The materials you cut, and the mix of thicknesses. We can start with approximations.
- How many lasers you run, and the power of each in kW
- The brand of lasers you are using
- Whether you currently mark or scribe with your lasers and what % of your volume is scribing.
- Operating efficiency: how much of each shift the beam is actually cutting
- Shifts per day, hours per shift and when the first shift starts
If you don't have all this data, no problem. We can work with you to help find the information or we have some industry standards we can discuss with you.
If you are planning growth, such as another laser, we can accommodate that as well and build it in from the start.
You get back:
- A report of stored nitrogen over each day (light, typical and heavy), then across your full week, for each system we compare
- The trade-offs, side by side: a bigger or smaller generator, more or less storage, or moving heavy plate to another shift
- The right purity for your work, and no higher, because extra purity costs gas output
- A straight answer on payback, including when it is not there

From a sample N2 Flow Bench report, run for an example company.
Why we size it from your week
Generators get expensive quickly when they are sized to a worst case: every laser on thick plate, on nitrogen, all shift. That makes the payback look short while the capital cost goes undiscussed. We start from your real production instead. AC Machinery has been selling fiber lasers for more than 12 years and has experience with systems from 2 kW to 60 kW, and our applications engineers have built cutting databases for multiple wattages and have metered nitrogen flow on lasers cutting in real production.
How we size it, with the numbers: How do you size a nitrogen generator for laser cutting?
One supplier for the whole system
AC Machinery can supply the complete system, installation included: compressor, filtration, piping, booster, high-pressure bottle packs and storage racks. If you would rather keep your own compressor and the company that services it, we work with that. Systems can go on a mezzanine, inside a sea container, or stacked to save floor space.
