What is Plate Machinery?
CNC profile cutting machinery quickly, accurately and cost effectively cuts profiles (parts) out of steel, aluminum or stainless plate.

Each machine is custom configured for the application and can support profile cutting of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and brass over a wide range of plate sizes and thickness. Our plate processing machinery is configured to support a wide range of cutting processes such as CO2 laser, Fiber optic laser, high definition plasma, high speed oxy-fuel, drilling and marking.

WHAT IS HIGH PRODUCTION PLATE PROCESSING?
High production plate processing is the term used to describe a situation where a high speed precision CNC cutting machine is run for multiple shifts per day or used to produce more than one part at a time.
To meet the unique demands of high production our CNC cutting machines can be configured with multiple high definition plasma, oxy-fuel or fiber optic laser cutting heads enabling the end user to cut multiple parts simultaneously.
Examples of high production cnc cutting machine platforms include:
- MESSER “XCEL”– 3000 ipm precision unitized cutting machine platform
- MESSER “MPC” – high speed large gantry cutting machine platform
- VOORTMAN “V320” – pass through plate processor with integrated small part retrieval
CNC plasma cutting machines equipped with multiple high definition plasma heads not only increase output, they also lower the cost to produce each part. The same holds true for cutting machines equipped with multiple oxy-fuel torches or multiple fiber optics laser heads.
In addition to offering multi head cutting solutions we also offer specific machine platforms designed for high production applications. These high production machines are designed with industry leading speeds, accelerations and motion characteristics and include advanced technologies to maximum up time such as self cleaning downdraft tables, shuttle tables and/or automated material handling systems.
WHAT IS MULTI PROCESS PLATE PROCESSING?
Any application that requires more than one tool be used to produce the required parts will benefit form a multi process system. Quite simply a multi process cutting system combines more than one cutting or marking process on a given machine frame. Having more than one cutting process on a machine gives the end user flexibility to use either cutting or marking process individually or a combination of each process all in one part. This combination style machinery eliminates the cost and time associated with material handling parts from one dedicated machine to another and also improves part accuracy as all processing occurs on one system.
