FAQ
FiberBlade - Compact Messer Laser Questions
Answers to common questions about the FiberBlade - Compact Messer Laser.
The FiberBlade cuts mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with capacity up to 25 mm (1.0") standard and optional 40 mm (1.5") depending on laser wattage. It is engineered for high-speed processing of sheet and plate materials.
Standard configurations include the 3015 (60" x 120"), 4020 (80" x 160"), 6020 (80" x 248"), and 6025 (100" x 248"), covering a wide range of sheet and plate dimensions.
FiberBlade systems range from 2 kW to 20 kW using IPG Photonics fiber laser sources, so you can match cutting power to your material mix and production volume.
The machine achieves positioning speeds of 169 m/min (6,653 in/min) and up to 1.5G acceleration (optional 2.5G), placing it among the fastest fiber laser platforms available.
Yes. ACM stocks FiberBlade systems in Ontario, providing shorter delivery times, faster commissioning, and local access to service technicians and spare parts.
Options include tower-style material storage and retrieval, automatic nozzle changers (LNC), ZOOM heads for beam magnification, Machine Insights production tracking, OMNIWIN nesting software, and dust collection systems.
Most installations require 600V or 480V transformers, clean dry air or nitrogen supply, and proper fume extraction. Exact specifications vary by laser power and configuration.

Fiber laser cutting system for Maximum performance
F Master - Maximum Performance
The F Master is the top of Han's enclosed fiber laser range and the machine we point at shops that want one platform to cover thin sheet through heavy plate. Six bed sizes run from 3,100 x 1,550 mm up to 12,200 x 2,550 mm, with laser power from 3kW to 60kW. A hollow-structure bed carries the full power range without thermal deformation, and an extruded aluminum gantry driven by the Han's 1201plus controller and Rexroth motors holds +/- 0.03 mm/m accuracy at 200 m/min positioning. The machine is fully enclosed behind OD6+ laser glass with an automatic rising and falling safety door.

Precise and flexible fiber laser cutting system with exchange table
J Series - Precise and Flexible
The J Series is an easy to use fiber laser cutting system featuring a double exchange workbench and gantry dual-drive structure. Available in multiple wattages and configurations the J Series has the flexibility to meet most any high production application. Its carbon steel welded bed with heat treatment delivers reliable dimensional accuracy, while the integrated cabinet design fits inside a single 40HQ shipping container for efficient delivery and installation.

Compact and budget friendly fiber laser cutting machine
O PRO - Compact Value Laser
The O PRO is Han's single-platform enclosed fiber laser, and it is the one we recommend to shops that want a straightforward fully enclosed machine in a compact footprint. It comes in two bed sizes: the G3015-O PRO, which cuts a 3,100 x 1,550 mm sheet at up to 120 m/min, and the larger G4020-O PRO for shops that need a bigger table. Both run laser power from 3kW to 20kW. Sliding doors on the front and right sides open the table for loading, four laser-protected windows let the operator watch the cut without opening the machine, and control is through a handheld pendant and touchscreen running Han's 1201 bus-based CNC.
Guides
Maintaining your FiberBlade - Compact Messer Laser
Written by the people who install and service these machines.
Fiber laser capacity: maximum thickness is not the number to specify on
Every fiber laser carries two thickness numbers for mild steel, and most machines get specified on the wrong one. The maximum tells you what the laser can sever on a clean sample. The production-ready figure tells you what it will run on your floor, on the steel you actually buy.
Adam BenderFiber laser maintenance: a shorter daily list, and less room for error
A fiber laser asks less of the operator each morning than a plasma table does. The items that remain are the ones protecting the most expensive parts of the machine, including one that tells you it is failing before your cut quality drops.
