Structural Machinery
Machinery for Canadian Structural Steel Fabricators
Voortman Steel Machinery (part of the Voortman Steel Group) is a global leader in CNC controlled structural steel processing equipment. Voortman has designed, developed and manufactured customized structural processing machinery for more than 45 years. Voortman machines are the most technologically advanced processing systems available to the global and Canadian markets. Systems are available for each process in structural steel fabrication
- Beam Processing
- Flat and Angle Processing
- Surface Treatment
- Plate Processing
What is structural machinery used for?
Structural Machinery automates the processing of common structural steel members by means of automated drilling, sawing, shotblasting, robotic plasma cutting (aka copers), painting and welding structural steel (angle iron, c-channel, tube, I-beams etc). By automating this process and automating the material handling between processes structural steel fabricators can lower their man hours per tonne, increase accuracy and part quality, and lower delivery times.
